EDT. Subtract one hour for Evansville, which is on CDT..
Schedule
- 6 to 8:30 p.m. - Astronomy "Tech-Talk" and Kids Activities; at the
beach
- 8:30 p.m. to around midnight .
Public observing at the beach. Area astronomy club members will have their
telescopes set-up. Many different types and sizes of telescopes will be
available to look through. We plan to have a lot of scopes there, so lines
should be short. Wander around; look through the different scopes. The
summer skies offer many wonderful astronomical sights, including large
globular star clusters, rich open clusters, bright nebulae, and many other
types of objects. Come and get a glimpse of the cosmos!
